Interesting - I've had to think about this: ooh, the pain. I realise that I've
always assumed that the Star Trek (and similar) games are mainly a fan
activity, sharing a general system. Dunno if I'm right, but maybe a fan who
enjoys running/playing this type of game could move onto his own ideas?

I'd disagree with you here, sorry - I've found that players who like stats are
imaginative too. This may manifest itself in diplomacy rather than in orders,
of course.

Glad to hear the news that you're rehabilitating successfully! I recommend
Redbush: bit of an acquired taste, but a good alternative to tea/coffee
for anyone who dislikes herbal brews.
