Im playing Outback..

Carrier ships. (should be relatively easy.. just consider ships to be
a type of cargo.. eg load group 25 with ship type Fighter.
The Fighters are packed in...
then  Unload group 25 ; will put those fighters in the new system..
I'd do ot, but havn't access to a unix box to test the changes..

Stealth Tech... Make ships NOT appear on the incoming ships report :)
This can be a really nasty one :)
	Along those lines, a radar tech.. ie being able to "see" ships at a
distance from a colonised world/special ship.

Trade!!!!!! Being able to "give" ships to another player.... This can
allow real nice diplomacy/alliance.. one player is given most of tha
planets and he builds ships.. gives them to other players who
concentrate on tech, so they upgrade these new ships....
or.. selling ships for planets/capital etc...

I dunno... just some floating ideas..
