Everyone has a right to expect whatever they want - let's not limit
people's expectations now :)

Can't argue with this.

You say they've a right to expect 'good service'. For me good service is
turns that make you think you've had your money's worth. Turns that are
still engaging your interest as much ten years down the line as they
were when you started. Turns that live up to your expectations in terms
of inventiveness, writing and actually reading what you've written. Good
service does not (from my side of the fence) include toadying to people
who think that GM decisions are made by committee and that they can be
changed if one is sufficiently vocal.
