You might have a point there. When I was researching my GP article for the PRM
Report a couple years ago I came across one of the old veteran players with
giant positions. His in-game name was LEGION. He carried on all discussions
with me in the third person plural and devotedly defended Grandel, Inc. Since I
asked him for information about the game for an article and he responded
numberous times I don't think it's totally improper that I quote him here since
it would have appeared in the article.

"Not only is Ed Grandel a great moderator, his is also OUR friend.  WE talk
sometimes 5 times a week.  WE know his family, where he lives, what his likes
and dislikes are.  WE speak for him because he's provided a hobby that is
devoted to US.  For years he worked 120 hours a week for OUR enjoyment.
For over a span of five years he never had a day off, including Christmas Days.

Now you would like to profit from his sweat with some nasty self-serving
crap.  WE quote Ed Grandel now:  "F--- you, and your pissy magazine!"

I wouldn't accuse him of having an unfair advantage because of this
relationship. But any actions by the GM that seem to favor a player in this
position are sure to be suspect.
