I played GP about six years ago.  I can tell you at that point it was not
being well run.  The primary problem was that one player had gotten far to
cozy with the GM.  The GM was not yet able to see the problem.  Two players
were tossed from the game, thanks to the trouble maker using his
relationship.  As a result many players left in mass.  As I recall, the
even that started the toss out was related to a false post to a chat
board.  Perhaps that is why the GM started having folk sign the release.

The sad part is the game it self was one of the best I have played.  And
outside of the problems this one player caused, it was also one of the best
moderated.
