yes some games are slow build up but thats part of the appeal(?)
I have played loads of games over the years and currently involved in about
6 now.  But the time between turns is my planning stage and most of the
games I play are historical (LGDR, WWIIOpenWarfare, etc) so time is needed
to play them as they are not over in a few months.  I have built up many
"friends" in thses games who I have never met except through the game and
all seem to enjoy the build up of their plans over the months etc.

By the way the dog wins some times but all she does is "stamp" the envelope
with a certified "seen by dog" teeth marks  :D
