Being written in C++ or Java isn't necessarily any better than C. Some
people can write assembly in any language. Others write nice code in
pure C. I generally find pure C better to read, because the C++ folks
have a tendency to have the logic all over several places, making code
harder to get into.

Why would you look for a C++ game? Look for a good, well-written game
instead :-)

Of course, that's a generalization, and all generalizations are wrong...
