What about 14-3-7-13-13-17-17 SL if you want a Great Ax anyway?
Which makes me wonder ... how appropriate is a great axe for slashers?  Do
they lose attacks (weapon speed), and does the extra damage make up for it?

On a tighter detail level;  how does wielding a battle axe two handed compare
to wielding a great axe?  Faster, less damage still, even though it has a
higher ST requirement?  Similiar question about wielding e.g. the broadsword
two handed; what impact does that have on everything?

(I do remember something in the rules saying that weapons which can be used
two-handed will, if the of hand is left open, right?)
