GSI gives the player a code number each turn.  A player knowing this
number should be proof enough that they sent in the turn.

I honestly believe that GSI should have asked for the code number,
verified it and then seen to the needs of their customer.

I must agree with this.  Writing a letter here describing his
dissapointment with the service would have been sufficient.  Calling them
stupid, etc. did little.

This is true.  My turns from GSI never took longer than 2 days to reach
me in Minnesota.  This has been true for every game I've played.  Some of
us are lucky to live in major Postal paths; others are not:(

I dropped MEPBM because it did not hold enough interest to play every
other week.  I sent them a letter telling them that, and they replied with
a copy of the rules stating that 3 week games were available.  I did not
see the point in writing back to them to state that this is what I HAD
signed up for and that they had made my game 2 week anyway (after the
initial response confirmed my desire for 3 week turns).  Sigh.
