And what if they, like me, have never heard of a 'Usenet->Email gateway
service', have no idea where to get one, and don't want to be bothered
with it?  Why make life more complicated?

The PBM Mailing List now has about 50 subscribers, and we've exchanged
several dozen messages already on topics completely different from those
on the newsgroup.  The List works for some, the newsgroup for others.

Exploiting bugs fair?  Of course!  And if I find a hundred bucks on the
street, I keep it, too...
