: I can verify this.  Phaul did get one in both mind wall and avoid traps
: in the same turn about ~8 or so back.  The problem with getting free
: levels is that usually you fight someone with such a good daze/vert that
: you have a hard time blocking them out.  When you fail to block one out
: you have no chance at a free raise.  It also seems that if a daze/vert
: are low enough for you to be able to block all out that you have less of
: a chance to gain free levels as well.  In other words, it seems that a
: daze/vert that is too high to block out or is too low to prove to be a
: challenge you will not get a good chance for a mind wall raise.

A 330 power elf that joined Bumble's last Swamp adventure posted that he
gained TWO levels of Mind Wall.  We ran into Hobgoblin Shamans and
Saurian Shamans.
