I can verify this.  Phaul did get one in both mind wall and avoid traps
in the same turn about ~8 or so back.  The problem with getting free
levels is that usually you fight someone with such a good daze/vert that
you have a hard time blocking them out.  When you fail to block one out
you have no chance at a free raise.  It also seems that if a daze/vert
are low enough for you to be able to block all out that you have less of
a chance to gain free levels as well.  In other words, it seems that a
daze/vert that is too high to block out or is too low to prove to be a
challenge you will not get a good chance for a mind wall raise.
