One-time posts of a well focused commercial annoucement are well received
in most groups, once a month is okay in others ... even once every two
weeks in some. That usent has been "tradtionally noncommercail" is true
but the the NFS-Net and it's restrictions has been dead for about 20
million usenet-reader years ... what's "appropriate" is determined
by the readers, not a FAQ or list maintainer.

Yah, it's a Vegematic(TM) ... it doesn't process stuff very quickly,
what goes it gets mixed up with other stuff and it all comes out
bland ...

I sent an update for my link last August and it's still out of date.
since it took me three months to get in there in the first place,
I didnt expect a very quick turn around ...

Everyone appreciates (or should) a faq/list maintainer but its just
_one_ source of information and you shouldn't badger folks who
want to present information other ways and more timely ways.
