Late in the game Turn Report can be 100Kbytes or more...
There is a game called outback with about 60 players...
turn reports are there now about 40Kbytes in size.

The load of the orders checker is only marginal compared to this.

None, at least, in all games that I played in, (or Host my self)
no form of compression was used...
