How often ARE you offering to post ads for individual games on Usenet?  As
a subscriber, I must - once again - agree with the VAST majority and say I
don't want to read Lindahl-originated ads in this forum for games who
choose not to participate in the group.  Greg, I challenge you to produce
some valid evidence to back this claim up:  exactly how many of your game
companies have specifically ASKED you to post to this newsgroup for them
because they aren't comfortable promoting themselves?  I find this
suggestion outrageous.

There's a BIG difference between a game company asking to be included on
your list, and asking you to post an ad JUST FOR THEM on this newsgroup.
It's silly to state that you intend to drag games not involving themselves
in this group into your ad war simply to make yourself right.  In the end,
you will only be hurting the games you claim you want to support.    If
they have no interest in representing themselves in this forum, WHY would
you choose to represent them by posting ads on their behalf?  This isn't
an issue of fairness...to use Eagle's analogy, it's you saying we'll all
either play your way, or you'll crap in the sandbox so nobody can enjoy
it.  Say what you will to the contrary, you won't change the reality.

As for your comments about having to repeat yourself, and nobody seeming
to understand what you're saying...there is the expression, "if it looks
like a duck, waddles like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it's probably a
duck."  If the vast majority of posters to this group think you're being
silly and sniping every chance you get, guess what?  YOU ARE!
