Why whould it discourage the change? If you think periodic ads are ok,
then you won't mind every game getting one. Do you think only your
game should get a periodic ad? Or all games?

BTW, I don't threaten, I promise: If the group decides that periodic
ads are ok, I promise I will post for companies who don't decide to
directly get involved. I should remind you that lots of coompanies
are not very comfortable with Usenet and take me up on offers like
that. It's good for them and good for their customers.

I never realized you wanted to restrict access to periodic advertising
only to companies which fit your special critieria. Rest assured
that I will work tirelessly to help all pbm companies support this
newsgroup. It's only fair, and it's good for the consumer.
