I have, as many of you will know, always warned of the dangers of dyan
powers, and of allowing dyans to have too much power and influence in our
society.  I am needless to say as shocked as the next man over this
allegation that dyan powers were used in warfare by the supporters of Emperor
William.  I demand that His Holiness takes immediate action to deal with this
matter.  I demand that the Emperor William and the Archbishop of Aagar make
full account of this incident, and suitable sanctions be applied that prevent
this sort of outrage occurring in the future.

However, two wrongs don't make a right.  I am quite appalled to hear the
Grand Duke of Helya speaking in this fashion, making outright threats to use
dyan powers himself.  This is completely unacceptable, and the papacy should
not tolerate such words being uttered, especially not from one who is known
to be a close supporter and confidant of the Pope.  Those in a position of
responsibility must lead by example, and the Grand Duke of Helya is no
exception.  He does not do himself, or the dyans generally, any favours by
his inflammatory remarks.  Leave this matter in the hands of the church,
where it can be properly investigated and dealt with.  I shall be watching
this matter unfold with keen interest.
