Here's a suggestion to consider, Graeme, - and this is by no means meant as a
complaint - you might want to start some of your larger games with a waiting
list.  My limited experience indicates that large games have a high attrition
rate early.  My experience with one of your games (Oxygen) was that you did
not replace any players, which gives the game a certain character.  As I said
above, I'm not complaining (or rather I'm complaining about those that drop
out precipitously not those that run games), nor am I suggesting that you
ought to be spending large amounts of time recruiting replacement players, but
one approach would be to start with a waiting list ready to take over vacant
positions (possibly even giving players fewer than three missed turns before
they are bumped.
