Spamming From: "Greg Ellis" <gnellis@ifn.net> Date: Sun, 16 Aug 1998 00:00:00 +0000 Dear List Members, This morning I responded to several messages on this list from people requesting information on free pbem games. This afternoon, I received a message from a David desjardins who accused me of spamming on this board for this practice and stated that people should not do business with me. I would, first, like to apologize if I have offended anyone on the list if I inadvertently spammed them. Such was not my intention. My intention was to get information to people who might want it. Perhaps I chose the wrong avenue. Regardless, it was not my intention to spam this list and I apologize if, I did indeed, commit this heinous practice. Regarding Mr. DesJardins response, I make no apologies for attempting to run a business. I should point out that Fire On The Suns is a FREE pbem game. We charge for several others, but FOTS is free. The FOTS cd which allows other people to run their own games is not, however. If Mr. DesJardins has a problem with an honest businessman attempting to run an honest business, perhaps he should not subscribe to this list or perhaps he should not "flame" that businessman in public or in private. Once again, my apologies for any inadvertent spamming I may have committed. Thanks, -- Greg Ellis Fire On The Suns Electronic SF Boardgame & SF PBem Toolkit; Release Date July 22, 1998 only $25 on CD Please visit the FOTS website at www.fireonthesuns.com Oops! Look DesJardins! I did it again! Referenced By Up
