Inspiration and curing writers block From: "Nova Games" <Novagames@dial.pipex.com> Date: Sat, 19 Sep 1998 00:00:00 +0000 How does anybody get around this? I've found the following things pretty handy: * A little notebook, that I can jot stuff down when the ideas hit me. Normally around 3 am in a club when I realise I'm shit-faced - and can't find a pen. * Listening to some ear-crunching rock music - or classical when the need takes me. * Last minute panic. * Going for a damn long bike ride that's nearly all downhill. * A damn good roleplaying session that you've run. * Thinking in terms of "What if..." after seeing a movie or reading a book. * Plenty of sleep. Seeing as the mood is so bloody intense on this newsgroup at present maybe we need a few humorous threads:).
