Our host for Explorer games has been going through some reorganization.
The current mail address for Galaxy Explorer is batch@ns2.dtai.com and the
new web page address is http://home.san.rr.com/explorer

A new explorer game will probably be starting within the next few weeks.
This game will probably be a little different.  We have added a partial
bombing
feature (a la Galaxy NG) and will start with the galaxy fully populated.
Why?
Because it is different and to my knowledge it has never been done before.

For those of you interested in running an Explorer game, all that is
required is
a machine running some flavor of Unix (efforts to port the game to Windoze
are
under way).  Galaxy Explorer pretty much runs itself once it is installed.
Source
code is available through the Explorer web site and I will help anyone I can
get
their system up and running.
