If you say so. The cost of sending _email_ is actually very low; it's
so low that the dialup part is availble for free in the US (I used to
work for Juno, a service which provides free dialups), and the
equipment can be had for just a few hundred bucks, used, or $500, new,
or you can do it all at your local library totally for free.

However, let's say that you're right and the UK will remain that
way. There are still lots of US players you can serve, today.

I suspect this is true. But that doesn't mean that it isn't a good
business strategy. I know of at least one game in the US with many
players overseas. It's actually pretty easy for you to take US credit
cards.
