I thought it was presented a while back that a PBM company would be crazy not
to expand into the totally email field because they would be missing out on
phenomenal growth. I was just saying that the low number of successful totally
email commercial games doesn't support this. I do think that traditional PBM
companies should try to ease into  offering their normal 'snail mail' games as
email so that they can:
a) maintain their player base as their customers become more computer
sophisticated
and b) possibly pick up 'some' new customers.

I don't think the new companies offering 'email only' games will surpass
companies that provide a combination of snail/email anytime soon.
