Well you got me there, but it still seems to be a lot of effort. The difference
between the shields of the two ships is only ~0.3, which just does not seem
worth it.

Personally I am a fan of orbital forts, for the good reason that they can't get
pulled out of position. This option would be very dangerous for me.
