I take it that during the galaxy creation process, a the galaxy
size is set as an input parameter to the galaxy creation process...  How
is the minimum size that the galaxy can be, in order to stand a good
chance of fitting all the required homeworlds (at greater than 20ly
distance) calculated.

I can envisage situations where you want to start quite close
together (say HW >20 and < 25 LY) in a rather cramped galaxy to provoke
early conflict/contact.  In this situation placing the last few homeworlds
could be quite tricky...  From a programming point of view how is it best
achieved?  Is the planet placed, checked, and then erased if wrong, and
retried, or something more elaborate?

Has anyone considered using a dynamic galaxy?  Looking at the
ring shaped galaxy, I cannot help but think it needs to rotate :)
If different parts rotated at different speeds then it adds a whole new
side to stratagy and diplomacy...

"Right as soon as my planets rotate aroung to your side of the
	 galaxy, well attack the Zorg..."

Is this more complecated than people want to put up with?  I cannot help
looking at galaxy now as something that I have endless ideas on how to
develop it, but at the end of the day it's simplisity and ease of play for
newbies is a lot of why I like galaxy.
