rec.games.pbm etiquette question From: ericsum@aol.com (EricSum) Date: Thu, 22 Oct 1998 00:00:00 +0000 I have dropped into and out of this newsgroup a few times over the years, but am a bit unclear on what is acceptable for posting when someone is designing or advertising a PBM. For instance, is it okay for me to discuss design issues of my PBEM project on this newsgroup, or is there a rec.games.pbm.design group out there somewhere? Also, once my game goes public, is it okay for me to advertise the alpha and beta tests on here? Finally, once my game is done testing and it goes commercial, is it okay to advertise it on here as long as I limit the ads to about once per week and make sure to mention the fact that it is commercial?
