The playtest should last approx. 3 months, after which period the game will be run by worldwide licensees. S:TSI is playable by both mail and email, with turn results generated in HTML and delivered direct to player's inboxes. Brief Overview =========== Suergan: The Shattered Isles is an open-ended PBM / PBeM game that takes place in the magically shattered world of Suergan. This half-sunken world is home to many peoples, some of whom have started the task of bringing the world out of chaos and back into the arms of civilisation. Where once there was magic and the gods, now there is technology and science. Slowly, the six major races are expanding their own frontiers, towns and cities are being born, the world is being explored again. New islands appear as the sea level drops. Strange creatures walk the land. Conflict. War. Evolution. But the old ways are not forgotten ... there are some who still cling to the religions of the old gods, and even those who have mastery of the magic arts. ... and when last old and new clashed ... ... the world was split asunder...
