I may be a victim of variable definitions for Lurking.  In most RPGs
that I've lurked on, a lurker receives nearly the same amount of
data as the referee or moderator.  It's a very behind the scenes
perspective on what is otherwise a larger multi-player blind game.

Lurking on a Diplomacy game is just a spectator thing.  In the meaning
of the word as I'm used to it, a Lurker may well become a co-conspirator
with the GM or offer devil's advocacy service.
