MedioEvo is the first PBeM game full designed, developed and programmed in Italy. The author, Francesco Urbano, is about to release the commercial version of the game, which is in beta testing at present. The PBM Locomotive, the Italian PBM company which also runs Adventurer Kings and World War Four, will be the sole GM for MedioEvo, with a worldwide license. MedioEvo is a medieval wargame set in Europe around year 1000. Players control feudal houses fighting for the leadership and have access to several economic, military and diplomatic options. The game is provided with excellent graphics and sounds, strikes for its accuracy in military simulation, and is full bilingual Italian-English. The PBM Locomotive also informs that three brand-new scenarios for World War Four are now available. The first one, Australian War, is a head-to-head introductory game which lasts 5 turns only and is run for free for everyone interested. The second is called Mediterranean Sea, and is suitable for 8 players, and the third, Indian Ocean, for 15 players. The PBM Locomotive also released its own customized version of WIMP, the front-end program for World War Four. WIMP is now easier to install and supports the maps for the new Locomotive's scenarios, as well as the regular one.
