War of the Ring From: "Nic Haynes" <cakey_pig@lineone.net> Date: Wed, 25 Nov 1998 00:00:00 +0000 Oops. What I was saying was that I have a chum who ran PBMs ten years ago, who I've just met at university (a kind of mature student thing). He is writing/has written a middle earth game. Now, I don't really know what the rules are, but I've seen so many tolkien games, MUDs computer games (shareware), scenarios for other commercial games.....that I wonder whether he would (he hasn't got E-Mail at present) be able to run this game without offending everyone in the world.....is it naughty? I mean, I've tested it, and it's great! Really good... So. What d'you think?? If you're interested, then contact me for now....he's (Damian (with an 'a', not an 'e'e - he hates that, which is why I always put an 'e' in) going to use a Hotmail address, and you'll be able to contact him soon. Turnaround will be co-operational with the players, E-Mail turns are fine, but replies are snaily. Uhm. Don't know what else to say. I realise it's a dodgy subject, but I can't see the harm, as long as it's a small game that doesn't affect the 'real' PBM game. There's only seven players, so I can't see too much of an effect. Even if a couple of games started......... Thanks for your views, and don't crucify me. Nic Up
