There is an install script that makes installing GalaxyNG a lot easier. It automatically customizes the galaxy scripts to suit your system. o Changes to the rules. 1) It is now possible to call back ships (only if they take more than 4 turns to reach their destination). 2) Cargo technology grows twice as fast as the other technologies. o Orders forecast The orders forecast now includes a 'status of the nation' section, showing the pop, ind, and tech levels. o Report There are two new turn report types. 1) Machine report (by Christophe Barbier), this is a machine readable version of the report, and should make it easier to create galaxy tools 2) G+ reports. This is the report format used by the Russian variant of galaxy (G+) o Galaxy shape. There is a new circular type of galaxy. Instead of all planets being scattered around the galaxy, all planets are located on a big ring / donut. (By Tommy Lindqvist) o More documentation. o Inactive players. In the first 10 turns players are only allowed to miss 2 turns, after turn 10 they are allowed to miss 5 turns. If a player misses 2 turns in the first 10 turns, it empire is completely removed. After the 10 turn limit the empire continues to exists however.
