Eldritch - A new home (commercial/announce) From: thomasSPAMGUARD@clark.net (Mark Thomas) Date: Sat, 05 Dec 1998 00:00:00 +0000 Eldritch is a computer moderated, play-by-email, strategy game of exploration and conquest for a variable number of players. Each player controls a faction, a group of champions and units, in a fantasy world where they can build an empire, explore the world, engage in trade, and/or study powerful magic. Each game of Eldritch runs either as an open-ended game, or until one or more factions meets the victory conditions defined for the scenario. Eldritch now has a new home. Juggernaut Press has dropped the Eldritch license due to unforseen circumstances, and pmpro inc. is now hosting the game. This is pmpro's first venture into PBEM gaming, being driven mostly by the fact that I work there. :) I'm the designer and developer of Eldritch. There is presently one open-ended game of Eldritch running, with a second game scheduled to start about the first of the year running version II of the Eldritch engine. We're always looking for new players. Eldritch turns are $2.00 US.
