PBM or ISG From: Adam Saunders <adam@asaunders.freeserve.co.uk> Date: Sat, 30 Jan 1999 00:00:00 +0000 Has anyone read the advertising bumf that KJC sent out with Flagship? What do you think? - Play-by-Mail or Interactive Strategy Gaming? PBM or ISG. Or, are KJC getting carried away with their own importance? I can see the point they're getting at, but I don't know, I think that PBM has a friendlier ring to it. and for those of you who missed the article in question, here follows a direct transcript of the original... "When you see the new flyer, you will notice that we mention Interactive Strategy Gaming rather than Play By Mail. We felt that Play By Mail is a boring sounding name and does not really cover what we do any longer as our main games can also be played by fax or email. In fact, with Beyond the Stellar Empire the majority of turns are by email. In an advert we have being made up at the moment, we call it just Interactive Gaming. Let us know what do you think, is this a good idea?" So, what do you think? Is it a good idea? Should we change to rec.games.isg??? Adam Saunders Referenced By Up
