Otherwise, let me know if this is the wrong place, or is not wanted................I GM a PBeM BattleTech Game, currently taking place during the 4th Succession Wars. ( 3028-3030 ) I'm am also part of the game, serving as the 77th Combined-Arms Mercenary Battalion's Commander. The game has only been active for a little while, so not much has happened, but here is the report so far........ It took Lt. Marcus Alexander a little over three weeks, to get his fledgeling mercenary unit together. All told, as of now, he had almost two full Platoons of Infantry of mixed Special Forces, Anti-Armor, and General Heavy Weapons squads. He also had two Helicopter Gunships for Close-Fire Support, along with one Fixed-Wing Atmospheric Fighter. The 77th was rounded out by three tanks; two assault/attack tanks, and one light, fast Reconner. It took him a short while to get a contract for his unit, and before they knew it, they were loading up a DropShip, ready to head out. The contract stated that their mission was to seize a criminal from power. He has dismissed the lower forms of government, so he would have total control. There was a rumor floating around, that he had, had his opponent, running for office, assassinated, so he could just step right in. The lower form of government, the Council of Barons, has hired the 77th Combined-Arms Battalion, to capture the President-General, and bring him to justice. OOC: So here they are. They lifted-off, and are heading torwards their JumpShip transport, enroute from Outreach to Gulkana. ( A whopping 6-Jumps! ) Referenced By Up
