New AD&D PBeM: The Blade of Enric

Few oppose the will of Darklord Vlad Drakov.

The atrocities that befall those who do are far from secret.  On the
contrary, his terrible public executions serve as a constant reminder of his
iron fist and utter control over the entire populace of the realm of
Falkovnia.  Nightly, Lord Drakov and guests of his court gather on the
terrace of his massive keep to enjoy their dinner while watching the
torturous, horrible death of at least one such victim, impaled alive atop a
ten-foot stake and left to slide slowly to meet their deaths on the cold,
hard ground.

Lord Drakov's control over Falkovnia and it's cities is complete, and
currently unrivaled.  Only the soldiers who serve in his massive militia and
carry out his foul justice enjoy any kind of luxury; the common folk of
Falkovnia are but miserable, downtrodden serfs.  As infants they are branded
with the sign of the hawk on their foreheads, a sign of their lives to be
spent in servitude to Lord Drakov.  Demihumans are considered property of
the state, and enslaved. Carrying a weapon is a capital offense for all save
the militia.  Prisons are few, punishments for crimes swift and harsh.

Despite all of this, there are those who would oppose Lord Drakov.  Secret
societies exist, small groups of unique and powerful individuals who oppose
his evil rule, their fingers of influence stretching from their bases at the
outer reaches of his realm to well within the walls of his cities.

Among the most powerful of these groups is the one which you yourself belong
to, and would willingly die for should the need ever arise.

The Blade of Enric.

Greetings, prospective players.  The Blade of Enric is an original mid-level
AD&D 2nd edition PBeM based on the Ravenloft fantasy horror campaign
setting.  Note that this will be far from a first-come, first-served
campaign.  Only the finest and most skilled writers / role-players will be
accepted, and the game absolutely will not start until I have filled the
roster with competent and enthusiastic players.  Life is just too short to
do otherwise. :)

To be considered as an applicant, you must be an adult, preferably 25+, but
I will consider 18+ in extraordinary cases.  Experience with AD&D and PBeM
games is mandatory, but familiarity with Ravenloft is not.  Game notes will
be sent out roughly every other day, and your ability to respond quickly,
both to the game note itself as well as to any inter-party dialogue, is
expected.  If you meet these initial requirements and are interested in
