New Galaxy Games on the IGO Server From: lrichardson@coinstar.com Date: Thu, 08 Apr 1999 00:00:00 +0000 I am currently starting three new GalaxyNG games. Registration will continue through Friday, April 16 sometime in the evening when I cull the respondants together and send out the turn0 reports. GAME 1: Galaxy Nitrogen # of Turns/week: 3 Day/Time Processed: Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1:30pm PDT (GMT +8) # of Homeworlds: 2 Max # of Players: 100 NOTES: Turn0 reports will be sent out on Monday, Turn1 to process on Wednesday. This will be a "standard" game, with a normal map, nothing unusual. GAME 2: Galaxy Oxygen # of Turns/week: 5 Day/Time Processed: Sunday through Thursday at 2pm PST (GMT +8) # of Homeworlds: 1 Max # of Players: 100 NOTES: Turn0 reports will be send on Monday, Turn1 to process on Wednesday. This is a fast game, where everyone starts with only 1 homeworld. I will also place empires a little closer than normal. This is intended to be a significant change from the recent spate of "cluster" type games. GAME 3: Galaxy Fluorine # of Turns/week: 3 Day/Time Processed: Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday at 2:30pm PST (GMT +8) # of Homeworlds: 3 Max # of Players: 100 NOTES: Turn0 reports will be sent out on Monday, Turn1 to process on Thursday. This game will be a "cluster" style game, and I will not start the game until there are at least 20 players signed up. Each player will have one large and 4 small homeworlds, with 60 planets in their cluster, and NO "stuff" planets. Each homeworld will be spaced at least 100ly apart. ---- TO ENROLL Send an email to galaxy@devel.igo.org. In the subject line, put the words 'join gamename'. For example 'join boron'. The order is not case sensitive. The body of the message is ignored. The turn0 report will be sent to the address in the FROM: line of the message. If you want your reports to go to a different address, you will have to change them in your turn1 orders. =-=-=-=-=-= Larry Richardson lrichardson@coinstar.com -----------== Posted via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==---------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Discuss, or Start Your Own Up
