"Rugged Defense" PBEM Club launches Panzer General II Tournament.

The RD staff have announced the launching of a new Panzer General II
tournament.
The tournament is open only to members of "Rugged Defense", however,
non-members may register for recruitment to the club and for the
tournament at the
same time. Round 1 of the tournament will commence on the 1st September
1999
and registrationswill close on the 28th August 1999. Registrations for
reserve players
will remain open until the conclusion of Round 1.

The scenarios to be played will be carefully chosen by "Cyberfox" and
the
Tournament Master, "Steppenwolf", to ensure game balance, whilst scoring

will
depend on a number of factors, such as the scenario chosen, level of
victory,
victory hexes and cities occupied, casualties inflicted and if necessary

a percentage
of prestige points remaining for each player. For example, a
player may score a brilliant victory, but loose due to points scored by
his opponent
for destroying enemy units and occupying more cities.
