Looking for a fantasy PBEM. From: a.j.hellenthal@bdk.rug.nl (Alex Hellenthal) Date: Mon, 12 Jul 1999 00:00:00 +0000 Hi all, I'm looking for a fantasy/medieval-based PBEM RPG (warriors and wizards, swords and spells, economy and exploration etc.), a game with medium-complexity (no Legends or ME-PBM and the like), weekly or bi-weekly turnaround, that doesn't require hours and hours of planning before you can write down the orders, and doesn't result in a stream of letters and e-mails. Diplomacy is nice, but it shouldn't be the primary element of the game. In other words, it should be fun to do, but not be very demanding. Turnfee/setup cost doesn't really matter (hey, I can't believe I said that!), although it shouldn't be excessive. Preferably computer-moderated, or at least mixed-moderated. Open or closed ended, either way it's fine by me. I have been playing PBM's for nearly a decade, but quit doing so a few years ago, due to time constraints. But I like to try my hand at 1 or two games again, although as a PhD student I still don't have that much spare time... If you know of such a game, or are the GM of one, please let me know at a.j.hellenthal@bdk.rug.nl Thanx in advance! Grtnx, Alex. "I tell you to enjoy live, I wish I could, but it's too late..."
