Who can tell? <grin> As far as I know our game, DungeonWorld, has the most players in a single commercial PBM game. Quest, is probably the most popular in multiple-games. As for free games, I have no idea. There are so many and they seem to change a lot. VGA planets is played by a lot of people though. As is Galaxy and also Stars I believe.
