Rule #1.  Play RTG's Mekton Zeta Plus instead.  ^_^

Sorry, low impulse control on Thursdays before a three day weekend.

Seriously though, there isn't much need for PBEM rules as there is
a need for proper protocols and understanding of the tools available.

Visual tools like V_MAP (a small plug for my free PBEM gaming aid)
are handy for reducing the chaos of multiple units.  [Unless you
like converting a dozen hex coordinates into map locations.]

Due to the staggered movement system, you're looking at a lot
of message traffic.  House rules for simultaneous movement or
phased movement (plot a half move, show updated positions, plot
the second half of your move, plot torso twists, show final
positions, make weapon declarations, resolve damage) would help
reduce that as well as provide a unique tactical flavor.

A neutral referee is a blessing, but Gentleman's Honor can also
work.  [Encrypted zip files also works to preserve secrecy.]
