Reports are coming out of the Middle East that the Islamic Republic of Iran has developed a terrifying new weapon capable of immense destruction. According to the reports, this weapon is codenamed "Judgment Day" and the Iranian government has plans to use it against Israel and the United States. What kind of weapon the "Judgment Day" weapon is is a mystery as the Iranian government denies it has developed any new weapons. But U.S. and Israeli intelligence believe it is a weapon of mass destruction, possibly nuclear. The mystery only deepens when a Canadian engineer disappears outside a restaurant in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada, along with the blueprints for a new launcher he designed for NASA, a Chinese Air Force cargo plane carrying components for a new and advanced computer is shot down over Nepal while enroute to Iran from China, and Russian technicians vanish inside Iran near a military installation. Responding to the rumors of the new Iranian weapon, the United States and Israel put together a joint covert CIA-Mossad mission to investigate the rumors of the Iranian weapon. A veteran CIA agent and a female MOSSAD operative, Israel's best, are sent into Iran undercover. Meanwhile, the Iranian regime continues to deny that they have developed a weapon of mass destruction, that international accusations against them are false, and that they're pursuing a policy of non-aggression. But why are Iranian troops involved in the largest military mobilization in the Middle East since the Iraq War? Why are Iranian Air Force aircraft stationed in Syria and Lebanon? Why are Iranian recon planes flying over Israel? Why is a massive underground bunker being constructed in the mountains near an old Iranian nuclear plant? And what plans does the Iranian leadership have for the anniversary of the Iranian revolution? In an international powder keg, even unconfirmed suspicions could lead to a terrifying first strike, while the only hope for two nations, and mankind, rests with an American and an Israeli who must operate in a country where both Americans and Israelis are despised and getting caught can have only the worst of consequences. Endgame Enigma, based on the novel of the same name by James P. Hogan but updated for this rpg, is an all-too plausible look at a frightening future. To join: email johnmunch zat qwest.net.
