Players (call for) From: "Vitenka" <Vitenka@currantbun.com> Date: Tue, 07 Sep 1999 00:00:00 +0000 I'm posting this in a couple of places, so I guess its spam - but this is the right forum, so... Call for players for a PBEM - spiel follows. If interested, write back (don't just post on the NG, I might miss it) ------------------------------------------------ No monsters Please - We're British The year is 1999. Strange things (well stranger than normal) are happening on the streets of Manchester. Several ordinary people - petty criminals, detectives and journalists are drawn together, whether by chance or fate no-one knows, to uncover the truth. The game will borrow elements from a number of sources (including the works of Neil Gaimen, that cthulu guy, Joan reid, Unknown armies, the Invsibles, Twilight, 'Blighty in the 90s' and a whole bunch of other books I've never read, but have been told are good. The game will be a systemless PBEM. Regular email access will be required (turns should average 2 a week) and I would like some of it to happen by IRC. This will be my first time running a PBEM, so asking for experienced players only would be hypocrisy. Pre generated characters will be available, but if you have your own concept that's fine too. Basically you can have as much or as little input into character creation as you want. At this stage, of course, character creation will be a matter purely of background and character. ------------------------------------ Again, if you are interested, email me. i Up
