I'd suggest seeing if game distributors would be willing to send
flyers to shops with their weekly deliveries.  Alternatively
there can be a little foot work to get flyers into our local
shops...

I'm sure there will be plenty of "no" votes, but I think
Birmingham is a great choice of venue -- it opens up the
convention to a lot more of the country.

If I can think of any events I'll propose them.

However, I *may* be able to get some interesting people from the
roleplaying hobby to come along.  Shall I sound them out?

I don't want to get involved in KJC bashing, but remember the last
time they attended a Flagship convention?  Their lack of commitment
made Madhouse look even better than usual.

Still, it's a pity to not see them in attendence -- but if Kevin
can't make it...
