The agreement apparently involves the transfer of exclusive rights, which Aquatic Enterprises will use to to sell a range of undisclosed marine products in the Candida Expanse. Federica Orsini, an emerging competitor to the popular Stefania Diaz, represented Colonna Aerospace at the reception. Spokesmen from Byzant'um Inc, the Cephalid company and presumed friend of Colonna, were invited to attend the event. Ms Orsini later referred to Byzant'um Inc as "one of the key players in the Frontier Territories". Byzant'um spokesmen were reportedly delighted with the coverage which the reception gathered across local and Candida news networks. The chairman of the (unofficial) Stefania Diaz Appreciation Society tonight accused Ms Orsini of attempting to replace the popular terran anchorwoman. OTHER NEWS Mantuan Staff Begin Work The first new members of Mantuan staff began work today at the colony to which they have been shipped from the Candida Expanse. Though their precise duties were not made clear, Governor Leopold Sacroix attended a photocall with members of the fresh influx to welcome them to the Frontier Territories. At a press conference later the CEO of Mantua Industries suggested that the employees would increase the 'readiness' and 'responsiveness' of Colony Mantua. Experts have taken this to mean that the staff will be assigned to operate the rumoured new missile silos presently under construction. Agromman Disclosure Sparks Supposition Following discussions reportedly tabled during the most recent meeting of the Frontier Committee, the Agromman Frontier Commissioner hinted yesterday that Colony Kyop would shortly be benefiting from an investment package in the 'near future'. Further details were tonight unavailable. Analysts, however, attribute the announcement to a probable deal hammered out between Solidarity and Mantua Industries following recent disturbances in the Cirrus system. Inside sources suggest that the two parties, who are allies in the Candida Senate, believe tensions amid the new companies in the Frontier Territories are polarising, with Agromman parties increasingly set against former citizens of the Terran Constitutional Empire.
