"bloody-awful" tends to be subjective though.  I think 90% of the web looks
pretty bloody awful - it's either so garish and amateurish that you can't be
bothered to find the information, or it's some mega-corp attempt to put a
TV commercial onto the web - slow, bloated eye-candy that doesn't even have
any content.

Pagoda's web site (http://www.pagoda-games.demon.co.uk - no connection other
than as a satisfied customer) is one that springs to mind as absolutely spot
on.  The Madhouse one is pretty good too, although some of the graphics are
a little bit big. (http://www.play-by-mail.com, if I remember right).

(I'm sure there are others that I've visited - apologies to any GMs I appear
to have snubbed - those are just two that spring to mind.)

I'd be interested to hear your opinions on those two to see what your idea of
a good or bad site is...
