I'm looking for 15-30 people to join/playtest a game called "Steel Fortress" that I've been working on. Some brief information on the game follows... --- Quick Summary: Steel Fortress is a open-ended computer moderated simulation. Armored units move, battle, capture service depots and explore a virtual world. Before each turn, players submit orders for their units. After the turns are executed, the game engine will send reports to the players detailing what happened. Steel Fortress is set in a high-technology futuristic world. Units do not have fixed goals. They may develop skills they believe will be useful, pursue missions as they wish, or simply conquer the world. A player may purchase weapon system upgrades, study battle techniques, and destroy opposing factions . Business-minded players can establish a profitable trading empire, provide well-equipped military units as escorts for weaker units, take-over attempts, etc. An explorer could set out to discover new areas, find new sources of fuel to convert into precious Neutrino Cubes, or seek out other exciting adventures.
