a game I used to play From: "Ken & Maggie" <kennybob@powerlynk.com> Date: Sat, 26 Feb 2000 00:00:00 +0000 I used to play a game thru the mail that was sort of a space exploration/battle game, back in the early 80's. Each turn costed $3. Each turn was written on a piece of paper, which was later input into an Apple computer. You would pay $3 for each ship you owned. If you owned more than one, you'd have to pay $3 for each ship. Sometimes you would find planets and occupy them, explore them, and maybe even defend them. If you discovered a planet, I remember, that the planet turn had a piece of paper that showed a circle for the planet divided into sections. You would then have the option of exploring a certain number of sections. If you found minerals, you could mine them for credits, in which you could buy certain planet defending weapons, from other planets. I remember that in the beginning of play, you could be killed very fast, because of others in the game. I want to know what the game was called? Is there a pc version of the game? ****************************************************** Ken & Maggie "Preserve wildlife... pickle a rat." ****************************************************** Referenced By Up
