I'm not sure that anyone should send their game-specific, nuts and bolts
discussions here. A private discussion forum probably serves everyone best,
especially if you've already got a website to which you're trying to drive your
customers.

A commercial game publisher colleague of yours once told me that he
intentionally kept the existence of this newsgroup (and competing games) as
secret as possible.  Perhaps he was not confident his games would stand up to
the competition.

Or, maybe he just wanted to rant and rave on this newsgroup without his players
seeing "his dark side" ;-)
