You are right. As another article points out on the thread, GalaxyNG
has a good sized following and a few GMs. Blind seems to have two
active GM's (http://www.cs.utk.edu/~bampton/blind/games.html).
Explorer has the occasional game (possibly more).

I would start poking based upon the flavor of Galaxy you wish to play.
Certainly the Blind end of things Bernhard and I have running fairly
smoothly. (He just started a game, so there might be a drop-out or
three).
