Basketball Simulation From: David Williams <dwilliams@seneca24.net> Date: Wed, 24 May 2000 00:00:00 +0000 Looking for a basketball simulation league to join? Here's a couple of "Just for fun" leagues. These leagues use fictional players, meaning they are non-NBA players, they are all made-up. Both leagues use the UBA software from Jim Moore. You can get it free at: http://people.delphi.com/uba/index.html World Basketball Association (WBA) : http://Hicks1210.tripod.com/index.htm Global Collegiate Athletics Association (GCAA) : http://globalcollege.tripod.com/ WBA is currently a 22 team basketball simulation league. The GCAA is a 35 team "college" league which feeds players into the WBA. Check out the web sites. Contact either commissioner if interested. The WBA is currently filled, but will expand. Coached waiting to join the WBA, may coach a team in the GCAA until there is an opening in the WBA. WBA is midway through the 1st season, while the GCAA is looking for a few more owners before starting. In the GCAA, you can not only name your "college", you can also name some of your players for the first season. Up
